Sheraton Bal Harbour - Bal Harbour, Florida

The building was constructed by Baltimore Contractors. ARMM was engaged to design waterproofing and dampproofing surfaces for the entirety of the building. Mr. Ernie Kopiecky, Site Administrator, was a GSA specialist for the project.

The Sheraton Hotel in Bal Harbour, Florida is owned jointly by the John Hancock Company and the Sheraton Hotel chain.

The facilities, comprising 150,000 square feet of all buildings, were rehabilitated in roof redesign. Forty-five details were redesigned to assure a quality control method by the roofing contractor. In addition, complete rehabilitation of promenade areas, roof areas, wading pools, sun decks, as well as a variety of building composites were included. Each building had a multiplicity of uses. The roofing composite and roofing membranes were changed and tailor-made to specifications for the individual structure.

Zack Roofing Company, being the awarded contractor, performed a flawless roof application in conjunction with a series of roofing subcontractors performing plaza waterproofing and plaza deck applications.

ARMM monitored the project throughout the entirety of the construction phase and upon completion of the work, was recommended by the John Hancock Corporation to perform other projects also owned by John Hancock (i.e. the Merrit Island Mall).
